This short but sweet demonstration gives us a glimpse of both the infallible technique and writing ability of Gowans, cycling between picking and tapping in a handful of variations of this wonderfully constructed idea. It’s heavy but melodic, technical without being overly complicated, and in general looks and sounds like a lot of fun.
